This qualification is suitable if English is not your first language, and you want to develop your English reading skills. You will learn to read and understand a range of different types of texts relevant to everyday life.
During the course you will:
- Read and understand different types of texts
- Read information from everyday sources
- Learn new vocabulary
- Be able to use a dictionary
Your tutor will help you to set your own, individual learning goals that will support you towards achieving your qualification/course aims.

This course is delivered in person at a venue in Cambridgeshire.
You will need to attend all scheduled sessions and complete additional learning in your own time as directed by your tutor.

You will achieve Gateway Skills for Life ESOL Reading that will enhance your CV and is recognised by employers, as well as helping you progress to Further Education.
