Functional Skills are practical skills that allow learners to work confidently, effectively and independently in life. There are three elements to this course - Speaking & Listening, Reading and Writing. This course is for adults who need to improve their English skills and who will be expected to undertake exams to gain a qualification.
You will learn how to use English Language more effectively in all areas.
You will learn how to speak with confidence, how to listen more effectively, You will be able to understand the meaning of words that you may struggle with when reading and writing and you will learn how to use these skills in everyday life
