This fun and informal course is designed for hearing people to learn fingerspelling and very basic conversation, to enable communication with the deaf or hard of hearing.
You will learn basic communication using sign language that will enable you to express yourself and communicate more effectively with the deaf and hard of hearing.

What equipment will I need?
You will need a notepad and pen, any other materials required will be available at the venue.
By the end of this course you will have a basic understanding of sign language and be able to communicate effectively using your hands and fingers.

The ability to speak, listen and understand English at Level 1 is mandatory to do this course.
