On this Supporting your Anxious child course you will work alongside your tutor and other parents to increase your understanding of anxiety in children.  You will learn how to recognise the signs of anxiety, identify some of the possible reasons and develop strategies to help your child manage these feelings in a supportive group.

From completing this course, you will learn valuable skills that can be applied in many areas of life including:

- Identifying the signs and possible causes of stress in children
- Exploring tools and techniques to manage stress
- Developing communication and listening skills
- Accessing support
- An understanding of possible next steps, including careers working with children

Your tutor will also work with you to set your own individual learning goals that will support you in achieving this course and help you progress onto the next steps that are right for you.

This course is delivered in person at Littleport Child and Family Centre.

You will need to attend all scheduled sessions and complete additional learning in your own time as directed by your tutor.
