Course Overview
Our Maths for Adults course will help you improve your everyday maths skills so you can become more confident when making calculations with money, understanding figures, charts and graphs in newspapers, or measuring rooms, understanding your payslip. This course is also ideal for you if you want to achieve a functional skills qualification but are not yet ready. This course will help you with the essential maths you need to participate, fully in society, make progress at work and solve everyday problems.

What will I learn?

You will learn about:
- whole numbers
- decimals and fractions
- how to use maths to solve problems
- becoming more accurate with money and measurement
- interpret and comment on information in tables and charts. 

Your tutor will work with you to set your own individual learning goals that will support you in achieving your course and help you progress onto the next steps that are right for you.

This course is delivered in person at a venue in Cambridgeshire. You will need to attend all scheduled sessions and complete additional learning in your own time as directed by your tutor.

Completing this course will give you the opportunity to earn a Cambridgeshire Skills digital badge. Badges are endorsed by City and Guilds and are a great way to demonstrate your newly gained skills and knowledge and provide evidence of completed learning. You will also be ready to progress on to Functional Skills Maths qualification.
