Our Improve your maths skills course will help you improve your everyday maths skills so you can become more confident when making calculations with money, understanding figures, charts and graphs in newspapers, or measuring rooms, understanding your payslip. This course is also ideal for you if you want to achieve a functional skills qualification but are not yet ready. This course will help you with the essential maths you need to participate, fully in society, make progress at work and solve everyday problems.

Your tutor will work with you to set your own individual learning goals that will support you in achieving your course and help you progress onto the next steps that are right for you.

This course is delivered flexibly online with regular online support and feedback meetings with your allocated tutor. You will need to commit to working through course material for the agreed hours each week and completing course work by the agreed timescales. You will also need to join the required tutor support meetings.

You will need access to a laptop or PC, camera, microphone and internet connection.
We may be able to support you with loaning this equipment if you do not have it

Completing this course will give you the opportunity to earn a Cambridgeshire Skills digital badge. Badges are endorsed by City and Guilds and are e a great way to demonstrate your newly gained skills and knowledge and provide evidence of completed learning. You will also be ready to progress on to Functional Skills Maths qualification.
