This session is aimed to bring our Forest School Practitioners and current trainee’s together, practice and refresh our skills, share up to date thinking and offer a variety of different activities.

Our Development Days will include:

• Refreshing and practicing core Forest School Skills such as shelters, knots, games, cooking and tool use
• How to be inclusive to all children and exploring how sensory circuits can become part of your forest school session
• Time to think about up-to-date practice and theory
• Time to consider challenges we face during forest schools and adding more ideas to our forest school toolkit

You will need a notebook and pen, any other materials required will be available at the venue.

What will I achieve?
The purpose of this course is for current forest school leaders, assistants, and trainees to further progress in their knowledge and understanding of forest schools. It also provides them with lots of practical ideas and up-to-date information which they can add to their current toolkit.

What are the entry requirements?

What are the entry requirements?
You must be a current Level 3 Forest School Leader, Level 2 Forest School Assistant or current trainee (who has completed their first week of training).
