This short online self-paced course provides you with the opportunity to learn how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel at a fundamental level. It is a introductory course and ideal for anyone who:
• Seeks to learn fundamental skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Desire a better understanding of how Microsoft tool’s function.
• Are interested in re-engaging with learning and exploring opportunities for further development and progression.

• Effectively use Microsoft Word and format documents.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel to enter numerical information into spreadsheets, utilise formulas for calculations and present data using charts.
• Create folders to organise your files, save and retrieve documents.
• Utilise Microsoft PowerPoint to enter information into presentations, create new slides in PowerPoint and apply appropriate techniques to edit slides effectively

You will also work toward individual goals which you will discuss and set with your tutor.

This course is delivered flexibly online with regular online support and feedback meetings with your allocated tutor. You will need to commit to working through course material for the agreed hours each week and completing course work by the agreed timescales. You will also need to join the required tutor support meetings.

You will need access to a laptop or PC, camera, microphone, and internet connection. If you do not have access to this equipment, we may be able to support you.
